Project Two: Part 1- Description

            For the first part of the project, in class we were given instructions for what the next project would be. We were told to use one piece of cardboard, that we would buy from the Common Shop, and build a chair that could support our own weight. Some classes were told to use only half of one sheet of the cardboard and other classes were told to use the whole sheet. This chair was to be done over the weekend and brought in by Tuesday for critique.

         It was really interesting to see how different every chair was but also how similar they all were. There were a lot of square chairs made with the class that could use half the cardboard. But the classes that could use more cardboard it was interesting to see how creative some of the other students got.
