This reading was pretty interesting to me because as a Photomedia student I could agree with most of what he was saying. Photographs cannot lie but they also tell false stories. And that's why photography is so interesting, because you can tell the truth with a photo or you can adjust/edit it to lie.
Another piece that was interesting to me was how selective photography is. The photographer could choose to cut out part of the image and it could completely change the real-life situation. It's either spot-on or it's deceiving. I've always thought about how truthful photography is but after reading how many ways you could lie it has completely changed my point of view on photography.
